- Develop and implement the hotel’s commercial strategy across sales, marketing, and revenue streams.
- Lead pre-opening initiatives including budget planning, team setup, and partnerships with global and local stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Hard Rock International to ensure alignment with brand standards and campaigns.
- Drive B2B and B2C strategies across leisure, corporate, MICE, and luxury segments.
- Build strong relationships with tour operators, travel advisors, and corporate accounts.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales missions, and industry events.
- Partner with the Global Sales Office to maximize reach and performance.
- Oversee digital, PR, and social media activities to position the hotel as a lifestyle destination.
- Manage influencer collaborations, media partnerships, and targeted campaigns to drive awareness and direct bookings.
- Ensure synergy between hotel marketing and the broader St. George’s Bay development.
- Define pricing, distribution, and forecasting strategies in collaboration with Revenue Management.
- Optimize performance across all channels (OTAs, GDS, direct).
- Monitor market trends and adjust tactics accordingly.
- Embed Hard Rock’s DNA into the guest experience through music, entertainment, and lifestyle activations.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure consistent brand storytelling from pre-arrival to post-stay.
- Recruit and lead a high-performing commercial team.
- Set clear KPIs, foster collaboration, and champion innovation and accountability.
- Promote an energetic and inclusive team culture reflective of the Hard Rock spirit.
- 6+ years’ experience in hospitality sales & marketing, with senior leadership roles in lifestyle or luxury hotel environments.
- Proven pre-opening and market launch experience.
- Strong understanding of European leisure, corporate, and MICE markets.
- Background in digital marketing, branding, and business development.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Hospitality, Marketing, or Business.
- Strategic, data-driven, and commercially agile.
- Inspiring leadership with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Deep knowledge of CRM systems, revenue tools, and digital platforms.
- Comfortable working remotely and on-site in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Passion for music, entertainment, and lifestyle hospitality.
- Based in Malta or willing to relocate.
- Frequent travel required for business development and brand representation.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and events.
- Polished appearance with the ability to adapt style to different settings—from luxury events to Hard Rock brand activations.
