- Assist in preparing ingredients (chopping, peeling, slicing, etc.)
- Prepare basic dishes under supervision (soups, salads, sauces)
- Support the Chef de Parties and Sous Chef
- Follow instructions precisely
- Keep workstations clean and organized
- Set up and break down workstations at the beginning and end of shifts
- Ensure mise en place (everything in its place) is ready for service
- Adhere to food hygiene and safety standards (e.g., HACCP)
- Keep utensils, equipment, and kitchen areas sanitized
- Properly store food and ingredients to avoid spoilage
- Help with receiving and storing deliveries
- At least 6 months of previous culinary experience.
- The necessary qualifications as well as food handling certification.
- Good communication skills and an outgoing personality.
- Knowledge of the English language
