Our Client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales & Projects Coordinator to join its team. This full-time position involves overseeing flooring installation projects from start to finish, managing site inspections, coordinating teams, and contributing to sales activities. The role requires a balance of operational expertise and customer-facing skills to ensure quality delivery and client satisfaction.Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Take charge of all flooring installation projects, ensuring efficient scheduling, close monitoring of progress, and maintaining high standards of quality and timely completion.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with installers, subcontractors, and internal teams to align objectives and ensure smooth operations across all project stages.
  • Site Readiness and Inspections: Carry out pre-installation site visits to evaluate conditions, identify potential challenges, and confirm that timelines are realistic.
  • Lead Identification and Pre-Sales: Actively source new flooring opportunities, perform initial assessments, and support the sales team in expanding business opportunities.
  • Sales of Ancillary Products: Promote and sell complementary products such as commercial vacuums and maintenance systems as part of the overall service package.
  • Client Communication: Act as the primary contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing queries, and ensuring excellent service throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
  • Education: Relevant qualifications in construction, project coordination, or a related field would be an asset.
  • Experience: Previous experience in flooring, construction, or project coordination is required. A background in commercial flooring or related industries is considered advantageous.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver clear instructions and maintain transparency with clients and teams.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Confident and approachable, able to foster positive working relationships and engage with clients professionally.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of flooring installation processes, products, and related equipment.
  • Organisation: Exceptional organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-Motivated: Independent and proactive, with a results-driven mindset and the ability to take initiative.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical thinker with the ability to identify issues early and provide practical solutions.
What's on Offer
  • Compensation: A base salary of €25,000 gross per annum, with commissions and bonuses that can increase total earnings to between €40,000 and €60,000 gross per annum.
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 3.30pm.
