We’ll invest in your future to help you develop your unique strengths and build a career that’s right for you.About the role...You will be responsible for managing a diversified brand portfolio available to players residing in Portugal with a clear focus on acquisition and profit maximisation across all brands and product verticals offered.You will be the market owner for the local brands and product portfolio, closely linked to the market P&L and will functionally lead a team of internal stakeholders with either direct or dotted lines, supporting you in reaching your objectives. Your marketing experience, local market knowledge and strong network will be the assets enabling you to drive the market.What you will be doing...In order to successfully meet your market’s P&L objectives you will need to focus on four key areas:
  • Marketing: identify external growth opportunities by having a profound and continuously updated understanding of the SWOT-situation in the market and by being pro-actively engaged in network-building and using your existing network to drive acquisition of new players. Within the approved budget, you will strike new marketing deals and optimize existing ones where appropriate to continuously expand the volume of active players. In addition to acquiring new players, you will ensure with the CRM and VIP teams appropriate retention and re-activation levels across all customer segments to reach targets.
  • Customer experience: in co-operation with the internal product, marketing, operations, and analysis teams you will ensure the best customer experience possible across the whole customer journey and ultimately aim at being comparatively better than your industry peers in key customer experience areas to create competitive advantages driving business.
  • Monitoring & reporting: in order to properly understand the business development in the market and across the individual product verticals and brands, data and data analysis is essential. You will ensure access to all data and to all data analysis tools that are necessary to have a full understanding of your business area and to identify underlying trends and patterns driving observed developments and enabling you to take appropriate action where necessary. Moreover, you will need to provide regular reporting to your line manager and other internal stakeholders.
  • Team management: a further key element to success is building strong internal relations with the teams working at evoke to give them the appropriate guidance and briefings to take the necessary operational actions to support your market.
  • Compliance and regulatory relationships: You will work closely with the Compliance team and other stakeholder to ensure full compliance with the local regulations. You will follow any regulatory developments in the market.
Who we are looking for...
  • Minimum 3 years working in Digital Marketing, preferably in the iGaming industry
  • Proficient in English and native level Portuguese is mandatory.
  • Possess a keen interest in sports and gaming.
  • Working experience in the online industry.
  • Experience in managing P&L responsibility including experience in budget planning, steering, and reporting.
  • Experience in managing larger virtual teams in a remote way.
  • Strong commercial awareness & management skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, able to assimilate data and understand trends.
  • Strong communications skills and networking ability; open character enjoying working as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail, a working attitude that strives for ‘right first time’, thoroughness and perfection.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and meet (short term) deadlines.
  • First-class communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, and the ability to motivate, develop, and lead a (virtual) team under pressure are essential.
