From day one you’ll help shape the menu, the team, and the bold, approachable food experience that will define the venue.🔥 What you’ll be up to:
- You’ll back the Head Chef in every kitchen detail including prep, service, hygiene, and leading the crew.
- Take charge during service to make sure every dish hits the mark on time and quality.
- Manage daily prep and mise en place, keeping the team coordinated and ready to roll.
- Bring fresh ideas to the menu, specials, and seasonal twists.
- Keep a sharp eye on food quality, consistency, portions, and presentation.
- Help with inventory, stock rotation, ordering, and keeping waste under control.
- Stick to hygiene and food safety standards both local and internal.
- Train and mentor junior cooks to create a kitchen culture that is efficient and supportive.
- You have solid experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Chef de Partie in a busy kitchen.
- You’re hands-on, calm under pressure, and super organised.
- You know the ins and outs of kitchen operations, food safety, and stock management.
- You work closely and smoothly with the Head Chef and support the whole team.
- You’re passionate about great food, smart execution, and always improving.
- English is your go-to language and if you speak more, even better.
