- Lead every detail of the kitchen’s pre-opening; from menu design and equipment setup to picking suppliers and hiring your dream team
- Build, train, and inspire a brigade that’s fast, focused, and obsessed with consistency and quality
- Create a menu that fits the pub’s vibe: approachable, flavour-packed, and operationally savvy
- Keep hygiene, food safety, and quality standards rock-solid every day
- Manage food costs, stock, waste, and kitchen flow with a sharp business mindset
- Work closely with management to sync the food offering with guest expectations, events, and seasonal trends
- Get hands-on during service; lead by example and stay cool when the kitchen heats up
- A seasoned Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef with experience in busy, high-volume kitchens
- A natural leader who communicates clearly and keeps things running smoothly under pressure
- A creative foodie with a practical side who knows how to balance great dishes and P&L numbers
- Organised and strategic, especially when it comes to launching a new kitchen
- Well-versed in kitchen systems, food safety rules, and supplier management
- Fluent in English (extra languages? Even better!)
