Storekeeper & Administration Assistant

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Storekeeper & Administration Assistant to support the Maintenance Department of a transport and logistics company. The role involves maintaining accurate inventories, managing the receipt and storage of automotive parts and equipment, and assisting with administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate record of all automotive parts and equipment within the Maintenance Department.
  • Receiving and Storage: Assist in receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing parts and supplies according to established procedures.
  • Administrative Support: Aid the respective Supervisor in completing necessary paperwork and other administrative duties.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procedures and safety protocols are followed when handling parts and equipment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure efficient workflow and operational support.
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
  • Education: Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in logistics, administration, or a related field are preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in inventory management or administrative support is preferred. Experience with automotive parts is advantageous.
  • Driving License: Category B is required. Candidates with a Category C driving license are given preference.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese is an asset.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and professional verbal and written communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Technical Skills: Competent in computer systems and software relevant to inventory and administrative tasks.
  • Organisation: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Self-Motivated: Proactive approach with initiative to complete tasks independently.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and contribute to practical solutions in day-to-day operations.
