- Prepare and cook Maltese & Mediterranean dishes to a high standard.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented in line with restaurant standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all kitchen areas.
- Assist with menu planning, food costing, and stock management.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
- Support junior staff with training and guidance when required.
- Previous experience working as a Chef (experience with Maltese/Mediterranean cuisine is a strong asset).
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Awareness of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
- A culinary degree or certification is considered an advantage.
- Applicants must already reside in Malta.
