A client of ours operating in Architecture, is searching for a Project Manager with a strong background in construction site coordination, finishing works, and BOQ preparation. This is a hands-on role overseeing building projects through their execution phase, ensuring quality, budget control, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, solutions-oriented, and capable of working effectively with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.Key Responsibilities:

Manage construction and finishing stages of projects from start to handover
Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for materials and works
Coordinate on-site works, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to timelines
Liaise with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
Ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards and building regulations
Conduct site meetings, prepare progress reports, and handle issue resolution
Manage procurement of materials and coordinate deliveries
Monitor project costs, variations, and assist in financial reporting
Maintain accurate documentation and project records

Requirements

Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure, solve problems on site, and drive projects forward
Valid driving license

Education and Experience

Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar (not mandatory)
Minimum 3-5 years' experience managing construction and finishing of buildings in Malta
Strong knowledge of Maltese construction methods, regulations, and safety standards
Proven experience preparing and managing BOQs and dealing with the BCA
