We are seeking a highly skilled and moƟvated ConstrucƟon Project Manager with a passion for structural design to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing construcƟon projects from incepƟon to compleƟon, ensuring that projects meet quality standards, stay within budget, and are delivered on Ɵme. This role blends both project management and structural design elements, allowing the successful candidate to leverage their experƟse in construcƟon management while contribuƟng to the structural integrity and design of our projects. Key ResponsibiliƟes Project Management:  Lead and manage all phases of construcƟon projects, including planning, design, procurement, construcƟon, and close-out.  Develop and manage project schedules to ensure deadlines are met, making adjustments as necessary to account for delays or unforeseen challenges.  Budget and cost management – prepare and track project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and the project stays within financial constraints.  Coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment on project goals, Ɵmelines, and budgets.  Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders, addressing any issues that may arise and implemenƟng soluƟons.  Ensure compliance with safety standards, local building codes, and regulatory requirements.  NegoƟate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring the best value for the project.  Oversee quality control throughout the construcƟon process to meet the highest standards of craŌsmanship and performance. Structural Design and CoordinaƟon:  Collaborate with structural engineers and design teams to ensure that all construcƟon projects meet structural requirements and specificaƟons.  Review structural designs and blueprints to ensure they align with project goals, budget, and feasibility.  Assist in design coordinaƟon and suggest improvements or modificaƟons to structural elements to opƟmize safety, cost, and performance.  Analyse potenƟal risks and challenges related to the structural aspects of the project and provide soluƟons for miƟgaƟon.  Stay current with trends in structural design and innovaƟon, contribuƟng insights that enhance project design and delivery.  Conduct site visits and inspecƟons to ensure that structural work is being executed according to design and regulatory standards. Team Leadership and Development:  Lead, mentor, and develop a team of construcƟon professionals, ensuring effecƟve communicaƟon and teamwork throughout the project lifecycle.  Foster a culture of collaboraƟon and conƟnuous improvement, encouraging team members to bring new ideas to the table.  Handle conflict resoluƟon within the team and with external partners, ensuring a producƟve and posiƟve work environment. QualificaƟons:  Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, ConstrucƟon Management, or a related field.  5+ years of experience in construcƟon project management with a focus on structural design.  Strong knowledge of construcƟon management principles and structural engineering concepts.  Proficiency in project management soŌware (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MicrosoŌ Project, or similar tools).  Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and other design soŌware to review and analyse structural drawings.  ExcepƟonal leadership skills with the ability to moƟvate and manage teams effecƟvely.  Excellent verbal and wriƩen communicaƟon skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders.  Strong problem-solving abiliƟes and keen aƩenƟon to detail.  Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulaƟons, and environmental standards.  PMP (Project Management Professional) cerƟficaƟon or other relevant cerƟficaƟons is a plus.  Structural Engineering Licensure (PE) preferred but not required.ProfilesIf multiple Education and Language Profiles are defined, please note that you must fit at least one of them, but not necessarily all.PROFILE 1LanguageReadingSpeakingUnderstandingWritingENGLISHISCED Level: Bachelor or equivalent - Level (6)Competencies
  • Determine supplementary work, presenting it to client for inclusion into the contract
  • Draw up/recommend projects, plans, programmes for modifications and maintenance (planning, technical studies...)
  • Select and consult suppliers and (sub-)contractors
  • Organise supply of equipment and materials, location of machines and storage space on construction site
  • Determine technical, financial and human needs, starting from the project. Organising the works
  • Present construction site file to the foreman. Give technical advice about materials and applications
  • Check work of suppliers and service providers
  • Plan activities of personnel and distribute workstations
  • Follow-up and check conformity with rules, procedures and quality regulations
  • Estimate cost of works. Draw up detailed price estimate
  • Deliver construction site to client. Obtain report of completion
  • Run project
  • Communicate results of activities, evolutions and interests to internal or external partners
