Litigation & Arbitration Junior Lawyer

• Case Support: Assist in managing a range of cases, supporting client matters from initial consultation to resolution under supervision.
• Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct research and review legal issues to help prepare advice and contribute to strategy development in litigation and arbitration matters.
• Drafting and Documentation: Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, with guidance from senior colleagues.
• Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and responding to queries in a timely manner.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues within the litigation team and other practice areas to contribute to integrated legal solutions.

• Education: Degree in Law with a valid warrant to practice law in Malta.
• Experience: One year post-qualification experience in litigation or a related legal environment.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in both Maltese and English is essential.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate legal concepts clearly and effectively in writing and verbally.
• Interpersonal Skills: Collaborative approach, capable of building strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with litigation and arbitration procedures, and competent in legal research and drafting.
• Organisation: Able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain accuracy in a professional setting.
• Self-Motivated: Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and committed to developing professional skills under supervision.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and contribute to practical solutions with guidance from senior team members.

• Working Hours: Standard office hours from 09:00 to 18:00 including a one-hour break, with shorter working hours on selected Fridays during the summer period.
