- Support the CIO with a high degree of personal responsibility in evaluation of investment opportunities
- Sector analysis in cases - exposure to a specific castor using ETFs of a basket of stocks
- Quantitative analyses (market analyses, track record analyses, fair market valuation of portfolio companies)
- Monitoring and performance management activities (in conjunction with the head of finance), using the Company's management accounting tool
- Participation in internal meetings to discuss and prioritise investment opportunities
- Research on market and company information
- Advanced studies of economics or business administration with excellent results and specialisation in finance, investment or business valuation
- Relevant experience in corporate finance, M&A, transaction services or private equity
- Experience in using financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Thomson, etc.)
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Fluent in English and preferably one other language (e.g. German)
- The candidate should be confident, possess strong work ethics and be a self-starter with the ability to operate as a true team player in a dynamic environment
- Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
