
Engineering Manager - Atlassian Suite

You will work at the core of business and technology, transforming complex requirements into simple, value-driven solutions that delight users and drive business impact
You will also work closely with engineering teams, service teams, data analysts and other stakeholders across Betsson Group to continuously improve our products and the user experience. A taster of what you will be doing:
- Contribute to the product vision, and champion this vision with stakeholders including engineering and service teams.
- Define and manage the product backlog, prioritizing needs based on value, complexity, and strategy.
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing engineering team responsible for the Atlassian Suite including supporting integration and market place add-ons.
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and accountability within the team.
- Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of agile methodologies.
- Actively lead or participate in product discovery activities (such as identifying user needs, requirements gathering, scoping and solution design).
- Produce detailed product specifications in the form of user stories with detailed acceptance criteria (functional and non-functional).
- Monitor and optimize team performance, processes, and productivity.
- Ensure system health, performance, and stability through effective monitoring and maintenance processes.
- Oversee and ensure adherence to SLAs, maintaining high levels of service reliability.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, technical degree beneficial.
- Experience, working knowledge and applicable certifications in Atlassian Products.
- 2+ years of working experience as a product owner or engineering manager.
- Highly skilled and experienced in collecting requirements and producing product specifications.
- Proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, APIs, and data integration.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Experience with analytics tools and metrics-driven decision making.
- Experience in monitoring system performance, stability, and meeting SLA requirements.
- People management.
- Comfortable and confident working with both the technical and commercial sides of an organisation.
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to define project goals, set timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, vendors, and partners.
- Working knowledge and demonstrable experience in Information Technology Service Management (ITSM).
- Familiarity with functional and non-functional KPIs.
- Coding Experience and Scripting Skills (C#, Python, PowerShell, Node JS).
- Automation, Security, Configuration and Version Management skills.
