We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Bar manager. Position is on a full time basis.Key Responsibilities: - Set clear objectives and targets for bars outlets - Determine staff needs and assist the HR Department in recruiting staff - Monitor the performance of staff and actively participate in performance review - Assess development needs and train and coach staff - Delegate duties and tasks to staff to meet objectives and maximize resources - Set and monitor quality and service standards for staff - Communicate company policy, standards and procedures to staff - Direct and manage staff members to meet standards and objectives Chosen candidate must reside in Malta. Experience in managing a bar and skills pass certification are a must.ProfilesCompetencies

Create cocktail recipes with or without alcohol
Decorate rooms and bar - put them in order
Mix cocktails on customer's demand
Prepare drinks and serve to customers at the counter/bar, in their room or on the terrace
Do stock control. Find shortages. Place orders
Manage stock; record shortages; place orders
Monitor personnel activities
Offer wine list, advise customers and take orders
Welcome customers on arrival in restaurant, assign table and offer menu
