We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Maintenance Manager.Job Title: Assistant Maintenance Manager – Hotel Operations 📍 Location: Luna Holiday Complex, Mellieha, Malta 🕒 Schedule: Full-time, includes weekends and occasional evening shifts 📅 Application Deadline: 15/09/2025 What You’ll Be Doing: As our Assistant Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our hotel runs smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll support the Maintenance Manager in overseeing daily operations, supervise technicians and contractors, and ensure all guest areas and hotel systems are safe, functional, and well-maintained. Your responsibilities will include: • Coordinating and supervising maintenance activities across the property. • Responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel departments. • Managing preventive maintenance schedules for Airconditioning, plumbing, electrical, and other systems. • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations. • Supporting procurement and inventory of tools and supplies. • Participating in emergency response and on-call duties. Inform client on damage to furniture and appliances and if possible make repairs
Replace windows or repair cracks and dents
Repair or replace handles, glass, rails of doors and windows
Detect faulty parts and replace them as part of repair and maintenance works
Organise, plan and follow-up precautionary or corrective maintenance works
Assist maintenance team in maintaining installations
