- Greet and assist customers with their gardening needs, offering expert advice on plants, tools, and accessories
- Upsell products, suggest complementary items, and encourage repeat business
- Stay up-to-date on product ranges, including plants, gardening tools, fertilizers, and outdoor décor
- Ensure shelves and displays are fully stocked, organised, and visually appealing
- Assist in stock rotation and inventory management, including receiving deliveries and restocking shelves
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the store, including watering plants and cleaning shelves
- Assist in setting up seasonal displays and promotions to enhance store presentation and attract customers
- Operate the cash register, process sales transactions, and handle payments accurately.
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Flair for sales and an outgoing and welcoming approach with customers
- Secondary school minimum level of education; Computer literacy
- Good level of communication in the English language
- Applicants with past experience in running a similar shop/center are invited to apply
- The successful person has to have at least 3 years past experience in the Horticultural & Agricultural field.
