Duties typically include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, replenishing supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and ensuring all areas meet hotel standards. Housekeepers play an essential role in providing guests with a comfortable and welcoming stay.ProfilesCompetencies

Check tidiness of rooms and common areas and report technical defects to maintenance department
Meet specific needs of customers such as placing an extra chair, bed
Clean, disinfect and tidy rooms and sanitary facilities
Air the rooms
Dust & clean floors, carpets, furniture and objects. Ventilate rooms
Dust, sort out waste and empty dustbins
Clean and store clothes and other textiles (washing, sewing, ironing)
Maintain and store cleaning materials. Check stock of products
