- Lead & Manage – Oversee IT operations, ensuring systems run smoothly, securely, and efficiently.
- Mentor & Develop – Guide a team of IT professionals, fostering growth, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Technical Excellence – Manage networking (Cisco), Linux servers (RedHat, Ubuntu), and Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Azure).
- Proactive System Management – Implement best practices for system monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Drive IT Best Practices – Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to optimise operations.
- Collaboration & Communication – Work closely with cross-functional teams to align IT strategies with business needs.
- Incident & Problem Management – Ensure swift issue resolution and minimal downtime.
- Infrastructure Growth – Oversee IT infrastructure expansion, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Experience & Leadership – 5+ years in IT operations, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Expertise – Strong knowledge of networking (Cisco), Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu), and Microsoft platforms (Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Azure).
- Cloud & Virtualization Skills – Experience with VMware and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Problem-Solving Mindset – A proactive approach to diagnosing and resolving IT challenges.
- Communication & People Skills – Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Conflict Management & Collaboration – A team player who can navigate challenges and drive results.
