This Assistant Data Innovation Engineering Manager opportunity offers you the chance to join a forward-thinking data function at the forefront of innovation within a highly regulated environment, allowing you to contribute to how advanced analytics and AI reshape financial supervision. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies while operating within a structured organisation, giving you the balance of innovation and stability.You will operate within a dedicated Data Innovation & Strategy team, allowing you to design and prototype AI, ML, and LLM-driven solutions that directly enhance regulatory processes and decision-making. The position offers strong ownership and visibility, giving you the opportunity to influence the organisation’s long-term AI roadmap while collaborating with senior stakeholders across data, IT, and business functions.This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys building intelligent systems from the ground up, allowing you to combine hands-on development with strategic input while shaping how data and AI are leveraged at an institutional level. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, real-world impact, giving you exposure to European regulatory frameworks and next-generation data-driven supervision.You will:
  • Design and develop AI, ML, and LLM-based solutions supporting regulatory use cases
  • Prototype and evaluate data-driven solutions to improve decision-making and processes
  • Collaborate across teams to shape data architecture, governance, and AI strategy
Skills / Experience:
  • 4+ years’ experience in data, AI, or machine learning-related roles in Financial Services, preferably.
  • Strong Python skills with experience in ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar)
  • Experience building machine learning or data-driven solutions end-to-end
