Our client is looking for an Data Innovation Engineering Assistant Manager to be instrumental in guiding how the company applies advanced data analytics, machine learning (ML), and large language models (LLMs) to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of its key functions.What you'll be doing:
  • Identify and prioritise AI, ML, and LLM use cases to enhance processes.
  • Build and test prototypes to demonstrate value and feasibility.
  • Improve data tools, platforms, and governance for AI readiness.
  • Ensure solutions support both efficiency and decision-making.
  • Collaborate across teams for successful implementation.
  • Monitor global regulatory developments in AI/ML/LLMs.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of the assigned team or project.
  • Provide guidance, review outputs, and ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Mentor and train team members within the Data Management & Business Intelligence function.
Requirements
  • 6 years work experience, preference given to candidates with experience using Machine Learning
  • Skilled at prioritising tasks and applying a structured approach to execution.
  • Strong communicator, able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Inquisitive and analytical, with a drive to continually improve processes and outcomes
  • Some experience applying machine learning and/or large language models in real-world scenarios is a plus
  • An understanding of tools and frameworks such as Python, scikit-learn, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the financial industry is considered an asset.
Education and Experience
  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering or a relevant Field
