Our client is a large organisation involved in the energy sector in Malta.Due to restructuring, a Financial Manager is required to play a key role leading the accounts/finance team. Reporting to the Financial Director responsibilities include:

Financial Reporting and Analysis
Budgeting and forecasting
Financial control and compliance
Revenue computation
Cost management and optimisation
Team leadership, mentoring the team of finance professionals
Attending stakeholder meetings
Approving purchase requests
Executing end of month closing procedures

Talent will:

Be a qualified Accountant holding chartership
Demonstrate experience as a financial controller within energy, utilities or similar sector
Possess excellent experience in financial modelling
Be proficient with financial management software and Excel
Have strong communication and leaderships skills
