Our client, a well-established Corporate Service Provider in Swatar, Malta, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage your own portfolio of clients, build strong relationships, and develop your expertise within the CSP industry.This is a hybrid role that offers a salary of up to €50K depending on experience.Due to the urgency of the role, only candidates who are already based in Malta can be considered for the roleRole & ResponsibilitiesPrepare management accounts for my clients and manage their annual audits to meet deadlinesComplete and submit VAT Returns for all clients in my careReview financial statements and VAT Returns prepared by other team membersCheck that all client work, from myself and junior staff, meets deadlines and legal rulesTalk regularly with management about client needs and look for ways to improve our service qualityReporting important accounting problems to managementMentor and help junior team members with their daily tasks and difficult technical questionsArrange regular check-in meetings with junior staff to give feedback and monitor client work progressAssist management in training, writing articles, and reporting on any major accounting issuesEducation, Skills & ExperienceFully qualified Accountant in Malta – non-negotiable2+ years of experience in client accounting environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English – non-negotiableProficient in Excel, Word, as well as SAGEProblem solving, and be able to prioritise work on multiple assignmentsTeam oriented and eager to engage with colleaguesStrong attention to detailAbout the RoleSalary of up to €50K depending on experience and performance bonusHybrid with flexible hours – on Fridays the office closes at 14:00Free ParkingHealth Insurance & Wellness AllowanceOpportunities to attend industry eventsStudy leave and opportunities for career growthApply with your detailed CV, please*JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU with licence no EA00340-2024.
