Candidate will be engaged on construction and civil engineering projects in Gozo. Remarks: Full time on a permanent basis.Tasks will including interpretation of drawings/details to workers on site, monitoring compliance to drawings, preparation of contractor's drawings, compilation of traffic management plans, preparation of method statements, drawing up of programme works/gantt charts, monitoring compliance to instructions, measuring works on site for quantity surveying purposes, drawing up of bills of quantities for completed works, draw up as build drawings and any other task related to this industry. Work will be mainly on site however it might include work in office. Candidate must be ready to work overtime.ProfilesCompetencies

Coordinate the different stages of execution on a construction site. Follow-up of costs and progress.
Study design/execution of project; calculate technical requirements (structure, resistance, measurements, foundations...)
Select means and methods to be used and plan execution of work on building site
Select and consult suppliers and (sub-)contractors
Monitor and update technical and economic information and regulations
Draw up specifications, sketches, suggestions of replies to inquiries, quotations (specs, calculations, price...)
Elaborate and calculate technical-economical dossier of project (plan, measure, estimate costs...)
Analyse technical options and define equipment and materials depending on regulations, building site and costs

Draw up measurement states, plans, construction schedules
Draw up cost estimate; order forms or bills
Organise and follow-up database with technical data (standards, bills of materials...)
Draft/modify schematics/detailed drawings/plans for projects/installations/structures based on standard requirements
Draw up production plans and workshop drawings (plan, detail)
