The ideal candidate will be required to use, drive and maintain heavy machinery to perform related duties on construction projects including residential, commercial, industrial building & infrastructure like roads and reconstruction of existing ones.Road Construction Ltd company carries out various construction and civil engineering works around Gozo which involve the use of heavy plant and machinery. Candidates will be expected to make use of such machinery according to the company needs. Remarks: Full time on a permanent basis.ProfilesCompetencies

Check condition and function of machine, position machines in accordance with processes
Perform emergency measures in case of accident. Notify services concerned
Prepare goods. Load goods as per delivery route
Execute basic maintenance. Clean vehicle
Carry out excavation/dredging work or salvage wrecks, materials, equipment,... lying under water
Fill excavation and damming
Level and prepare foundations, excavation and pouring place, depending on the slope
Perform excavations (trenches, pit excavations,...) and smooth surface by digging a bed.
Supply site; place tools and machines for drillings or excavation works
