R77 Global is representing a leading financial institution that's advancing its digital transformation journey. Were seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to support the Head of IT / CTO in managing and optimising a multi-cloud environment spanning AWS, Azure, and ideally Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Windows and Linux server administration, networking, and automation, alongside strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to system reliability and security.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services across AWS and Azure (experience with OCI considered a plus).Manage and support Microsoft 365 and Intune environments, ensuring secure and compliant endpoint management.Configure and administer Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) to optimise team collaboration.Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or equivalent tools.Support and manage Windows and Linux servers within hybrid and cloud-based setups.Troubleshoot and resolve issues across cloud infrastructure, networking, and connectivity (VPNs, VPCs, subnets, firewalls, DNS, routing).Collaborate closely with the Head of IT and security teams to maintain IAM policies, compliance, and system integrity.Contribute to cloud migration projects and automation initiatives for deployment, monitoring, and disaster recovery.Maintain thorough documentation and enforce best practices for infrastructure management and resilience.Core CompetenciesProven experience managing AWS and Azure environments.Familiarity with OCI or a strong interest in developing expertise.Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, and Atlassian products.Proficiency with Terraform or similar IaC tools.Strong understanding of Windows and Linux server administration.Sound knowledge of networking fundamentals TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewall setups.Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to operate across complex cloud ecosystems.Effective communicator with collaborative working style in cross-functional teams.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 4 years experience in IT infrastructure or cloud engineering roles.Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.Certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator are a strong plus.Experience in financial services, banking, or regulated sectors will be considered an asset.About R77 GlobalR77 Global is a specialist headhunting and HR advisory partner supporting high-growth companies across FinTech, Payments, and Technology.
