- Providing day-to-day direction and support to the housekeeping team.
- Ensuring adherence to established cleaning procedures and standards.
- Inspecting guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality and cleanliness.
- Assisting guests with any requests or needs they may have.
- Resolving customer complaints and addressing any housekeeping issues.
- Maintaining records and preparing reports related to department activities.
- Cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to a high standard of cleanliness when needed.
- Carrying out regular checks and reporting any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
- Managing the laundry process.
- Assist the Head Housekeeper in organising & conducting training on Housekeeping
- Managing and motivating the team to meet company expectations.
- Assisting the Head Housekeeper with any reports, rosters, and ordering supplies.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned as required.
- Reporting safety hazards immediately.
- Following all health and safety regulations.
- Adhering to company policies and legal regulations.
- Other ad-hoc reporting as may be required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, particularly in English;
- Able to build customer relationships and ensure good communication;
- Organizational skills;
- Have one (1) year experience in a similar role in a hotel would be considered an asset;
