Data EngineerThe RoleThe Data Engineer will design, implement, and support the Bank's data infrastructure, with a strategic focus on extracting business value from the Data Warehouse. This role is critical in driving a data-driven culture, integrating third-party systems, and ensuring robust, scalable, and high-quality data solutions that meet evolving business requirements.Key Responsibilities

Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable data solutions.
Development and maintenance of ETL pipelines and data quality frameworks.
Design and optimise data warehouse architecture, using the medallion architecture.
Integrate various third-party systems into the data warehouse.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
Provide day-to-day support and guidance to the data team.
Ensure all data engineering work complies with the Bank's Data, Information Security, and related policies, as well as regulatory requirements.

Skills and Requirements

2+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
Experience in data warehouse design and implementation.
Experience integrating third-party systems with data platforms.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and data quality frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Advanced SQL and performance tuning for data systems
Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory, dbt)
Knowledge with .NET development and/or database administration will be considered an asset.
Experience integrating third-party systems and APIs into data platforms
Familiarity with data quality frameworks and monitoring tools
Excellent stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills
Understanding of data security principles, including encryption, access control, and secure data handling.
