Senior Data Engineer

• Develop, maintain, and enhance SSIS ETL pipelines across multiple data sources.
• Design and support SSRS reports for operational, management, and regulatory reporting.
• Create and maintain Power BI datasets, models, and dashboards.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of the enterprise data warehouse.
• Implement data quality, validation, reconciliation, and monitoring processes.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to deliver clear and actionable insights.
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in data engineering.
• Support architectural decisions and the long-term data and analytics roadmap.

• Strong hands-on experience with SSIS and ETL development.
• Proven experience with SSRS reporting.
• Advanced experience using Power BI, including datasets, dashboards, and DAX.
• Strong SQL and data modelling expertise.
• Experience designing and implementing data warehouse solutions.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in data engineering, BI engineering, or similar roles.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data lineage concepts.
• Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in Maltese and English.
