This Senior Data Engineer opportunity allows you to join a globally recognised insurance organisation with strong foundations in Malta and international operations. The business is mature, structured, and financially secure, offering you long-term career stability within a respected enterprise environment where strategic data initiatives are valued.You will become part of the Data Management function, reporting directly to senior leadership and playing a central role in strengthening and evolving the enterprise data warehouse and analytics platform. This highly visible position gives you direct influence over reporting accuracy, regulatory compliance, and executive decision-making, allowing you to see the tangible impact of your contributions across the organisation.The organisation is actively enhancing its internal data capabilities and building the foundation for future AI-driven initiatives. This role offers you genuine ownership over core systems, giving you the ability to shape data architecture decisions and long-term platform strategy within a stable corporate setting that supports progression rather than short-term firefighting.You will:

Design, enhance, and optimise SSIS ETL pipelines across multiple enterprise source systems.
Develop and support SSRS reports and Power BI datasets for operational and regulatory reporting.
Contribute to the continuous improvement and strategic evolution of the enterprise Data Warehouse.

Skills / Experience:

2+ years’ experience with SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI (including DAX and data modelling).
Solid SQL expertise with proven data warehousing knowledge.
2+ years’ experience in Data Engineering / BI Engineering within a structured enterprise environment.
