Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and reliable streaming and batch data pipelines in our modern cloud environment
Map and profile data lineage from source systems to target environments
Implement cutting-edge data engineering best practices to guarantee the quality and consistency of our crucial data assets
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with data feeds, ensuring uninterrupted flow and availability
Establish and maintain strong communication channels between business and technical teams regarding the strategic use of company data
Full ownership of the development lifecycle and ability to work independently if necessary

Experienced data engineer with 3+ years in data integration & real time streaming
Experience in streaming big datasets using Spark, Flink, Kafka or similar
Experience with AWS or GCP Cloud data processing solutions
Experience in programming with Scala or Java
Experience in SQL query writing and optimisation
Excellent command of spoken English
Keen attention to detail and data quality
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment whilst interacting with a variety of different disciplines
Proven ability to prioritise and deal with problems systematically and provide clear communications regarding the issues, resolution times and solutions
Experience with IaC tools (e.g. Terraform) and deployment tools (e.g. Github Actions)

And then some nice to haves:

Hold an academic degree in a quantitative discipline such as computer science or mathematics
Experience within the iGaming industry and / or regulatory aspect of iGaming would be considered an asset
Experience with Airflow
Experience in business analysis and requirements gathering
