About KYD Collective Limited: KYD Collective Limited operates in Malta’s catering and hospitality industry, with a growing portfolio of distinctive venues known for delivering vibrant dining experiences. Our group currently manages four operating establishments, including the newly opened O’Sole Rooftop in Valletta (February 1st, 2026). We are now expanding our O’Sole concept to INNSiDE by Meliá St. Paul’s Bay, introducing a rooftop experience and a complementary restaurant within the same hotel. Together, these venues will offer breakfast, poolside bites, lunch, aperitivo, dinner, and late-night cocktails — all under one cohesive vision of quality, energy, and service.Overview: We are looking for an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead the launch and daily operations of our new venues at INNSiDE by Meliá. Acting as the owner’s right hand, this individual will oversee all front- and back-of-house operations, ensuring effi ciency, profi tability, and an outstanding guest experience. The Operations Manager will be the main point of contact for both restaurants under KYD Collective within the hotel, managing teams, budgets, inventory, and systems — while fostering a culture of accountability and hospitality excellence.Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations across both venues within INNSiDE by Meliá, ensuring seamless coordination between service and kitchen teams.
  • Manage staffi ng requirements, including recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training. Prepare staff rosters and oversee attendance, time sheets, and scheduling to ensure optimal coverage.
  • Supervise ordering processes, stock control, supplier relations, and cost management. Monitor fi nancial performance, assist with budgeting, and drive revenue growth through effi cient operations.
  • Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction, handling feedback and ensuring service consistency.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and Shift Managers to achieve operational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Regularly report to ownership, providing updates on performance, staffi ng, costs, and overall progress.
Requirements
  • Proven management experience in a busy hospitality or catering environment (hotel or restaurant experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, ordering systems, scheduling, and POS operations.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach — treating the business as if it were your own.
  • Fluent in English; Maltese or international language is considered an asset.
