Description:Hammett’s Collection is seeking a dynamic, organised, and passionate Food & Beverage Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and is committed to delivering outstanding dining experiences.Our company runs a multi-award-winning restaurant franchise. Famed for being the first to introduce multi-cuisine influences to a sharing plates concept, the franchise is renowned for its excellence in social dining experiences and impeccable service.Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in training, supervising, counselling and disciplining front-of-house staff.
  • Oversee daily service operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and adherence to brand standards
  • Ensuring that checklists, requisitions and proper opening and closing functions are being completed each shift.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to the staff.
  • Observe performance and encourage improvement where necessary.
  • Arrange and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings communicating pertinent information to the staff, such as house count and menu changes.
  • Communicate with guests and employees using a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate actions and provide accurate information.
  • Give guidance toward improvement and make necessary adjustments for consistency.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all outlets daily.
  • Solicit feedback from guests concerning the service and food and beverage offerings in the restaurant.
  • Work closely with the Restaurant Manager in monthly beverage inventory.
  • Ensure all daily and monthly reports are detailed and submitted in a timely manner.
Key requirements:
  • Food handling certificate.
  • Excellent communication skills, and proficiency in English language.
  • 2 years of experience.
  • Understanding of catering establishments.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Ability to delegate and think under pressure.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
