Lawyer (Associate) - Corporate Tax

• Client Advisory: Provide guidance to local and international clients on corporate tax issues, including tax structuring, cross-border transactions, and planning strategies.
• Tax Compliance: Offer support on direct and indirect taxation matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, and VAT considerations.
• Corporate Transactions: Assist with corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and group reorganisations from a tax perspective.
• Liaison and Submissions: Prepare and submit tax rulings while maintaining communication with local tax authorities.
• Research and Documentation: Conduct legal research and draft documentation relevant to tax compliance and related legal matters.

• Education: M.Adv. qualification required.
• Experience: Previous experience in tax or related fields is considered an asset.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of Maltese and English, both written and verbal.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, capable of conveying complex legal concepts clearly.
• Interpersonal Skills: Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of corporate tax legislation and related compliance requirements.
