As our new Payroll Officer, you will:Support the processing of payroll for a variety of client organisations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal quality standardsMaintain accurate, up to date, and confidential employee data across multiple systemsAssist with statutory requirements, including returns, reports, and remuneration statementsPrepare and support submissions such as Fund Claims and other statutory documentation, liaising with local authorities where requiredRespond to payroll related queries from clients with professionalism, clarity, and a strong service mindsetProvide general guidance on employment related administrative matters, escalating complex queries when appropriateCollaborate with colleagues across PwC to deliver seamless, end to end client serviceContribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing processes, efficiency, and the overall client experienceThis role offers structured learning, hands-on exposure, and the opportunity to grow your skills while making a meaningful contribution from day one.About YouWe’re looking for someone who:Is eager to learn and develop a career in payroll and client serviceEnjoys working collaboratively and values learning from othersIs comfortable working in a structured, organised, and detail focused environmentCommunicates clearly and professionally in Maltese and English, both written and verbalDemonstrates integrity, discretion, and respect when handling confidential informationBrings a proactive and positive mindset, with a willingness to adapt and growHolds (or is working towards) at least an MQF Level 3 qualification. A Diploma in Business from MCAST (MQF Level 3) is considered an asset, but is not essentialWe welcome applications from candidates with little to no prior experience.
