Bartender

• Greeting customers, making recommendations and taking beverage orders
• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Plan drink menus and inform customers about new drinks and specials
• Upselling and top up customer drinks where necessary and as instructed by the supervisor/manager on duty
• Develop new cocktail recipes
• Taking inventory and ordering suppling to ensure the bar is well stocked
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Handling customer complaints and resolving any issues
• Processing payments
• Adhere to all food safety and quality regulations
• Assisting with other duties as needed

• Minimum of two years of experience in the hospitality industry
• Training in mixology, barkeeping, or other related courses will be considered an asset
• Have extensive knowledge of common drinks to recommend to customers, prepare cocktails, pour beers and properly decant wines where necessary
• Knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails
• Understanding of unique and complementary flavour pairings
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to multitask
• Very good verbal and written English skills.
