We are seeking to recruit an IT Manager.Position Overview: The Group IT Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the IT strategy, infrastructure, and systems across the group’s wholesale and retail operations. This role ensures that all technology platforms support business objectives, optimize efficiency, and provide secure, scalable solutions for multi-location and multi-channel operations, including physical stores, warehouses, and e-commerce platforms. Key Responsibilities:- Strategic IT Leadership: Develop and implement a group-wide IT strategy aligned with business goals. Lead digital transformation initiatives to modernize wholesale and retail operations. Identify and implement new technologies to improve customer experience, supply chain efficiency, and operational effectiveness. Establish IT policies, procedures, and governance standards. Systems & Infrastructure Management: Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of ERP, POS, CRM, and WMS systems. Manage IT infrastructure across retail outlets, warehouses, head office, and online platforms. Ensure uptime, security, and performance of networks, servers, and cloud solutions. Evaluate and manage relationships with IT vendors, consultants, and service providers. Data & Cybersecurity: Ensure compliance with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR). Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to safeguard customer, financial, and operational data. Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Oversee system backups and safeguard digital assets. Team & Stakeholder Management: Lead and mentor the IT team, ensuring high performance and continuous development. Collaborate with retail, logistics, finance, and HR departments to deliver IT solutions that support their operations. Provide training and support for system users across the group. Act as the main point of contact for IT escalations and critical incidents. Business Process Improvement Drive automation of manual processes across wholesale and retail functions. Optimize e-commerce platforms and ensure integration with stock, finance, and logistics systems. Use data analytics and BI tools to provide insights for sales forecasting, customer behavior, and inventory management. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in IT, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role within wholesale/retail. Strong knowledge of ERP systems, POS solutions, e-commerce platforms, and WMS. Proven experience with cloud solutions, IT infrastructure, and networking. Solid understanding of data protection regulations and cybersecurity best practices. Vendor and project management experience. Key Skills & Competencies: Strategic thinking with strong business acumen. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Reduction in IT-related downtime and security incidents. Adoption and effective use of IT systems by end-users.
