Job DescriptionOur client is a corporate services provider based in Malta, offering support across accounting, corporate, and advisory services.For the role you'll be looking after: assisting with client accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting tax and audit processes, and contributing to the smooth management of client portfolios.Location: Hybrid - Malta (2 days remote, 3 days from office after probation)Responsibilities:As a Client Accountant Executive, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Assist clients with accounting, corporate, and fiscal requirementsMaintain and update client accounting recordsEnsure records are aligned with internal risk and compliance policiesSupport the preparation of management accounts in line with applicable standardsPrepare and submit direct and indirect tax returnsCoordinate audits and liaise with external auditorsCarry out general accounting duties as requiredSupport management in maintaining client portfoliosRequirements:ACCA partly qualified or in progress, or equivalent qualificationMinimum 2 years experience in a client accounting roleSolid understanding of financial statements and accounting standardsStrong communication, organisation, and problem solving skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesProficiency in MS Office, especially ExcelExperience with cloud accounting systems such as Xero is considered an assetWhat's in it for you?Our client offers an exciting, challenging role in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
