Prepare and submit VAT returns for a diverse portfolio of clients
Analyse clients’ financial data to ensure VAT compliance and identify areas for improvement
Assist in handling VAT related queries and correspondence with tax authorities
Conduct research and support the delivery of VAT advisory services
Monitor changes in VAT legislation and assess their impact on clients
Maintain accurate records and ensure ongoing compliance with VAT obligations

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Minimum 1 year’s experience in VAT compliance and/or advisory services or equivalent experience in a VAT focused role
Bachelor degree in accounting, ACCA qualification or equivalent
Additional qualifications in VAT or experience in other ares of tax will be considered an advantage
Solid understand of VAT regulations and procedures
Strong analytics and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Strong client relationship management skills
