A Taxi Driver is responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently to their destinations while providing excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities: Safely transport passengers to their desired destinations in a timely manner. Follow traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies at all times. Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle, and handling luggage when needed. Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle. Use GPS navigation systems or local knowledge to determine the best routes. Handle payments accurately, issue receipts, and manage both cash and electronic transactions. Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to all passengers. Monitor vehicle condition, report mechanical issues, and ensure regular servicing. Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel, and passenger details if required. Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and taxi regulations. Qualifications & Skills: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Proven driving experience with knowledge of traffic rules and regulations. Good knowledge of local routes, landmarks, and alternative routes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations. Basic math skills for handling fares and transactions. Punctual, reliable, and customer-focused attitude. Check state of vehicle and clean it
Perform emergency measures in case of accident. Notify services concerned
Prepare the vehicle, choose routes, foresee possible bad conditions
