Bally’s also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.Well, what about the team?You will be part of a dynamic team in the Malta Office! Taking an active part in product and feature development and communicating requirements concerning reporting and analytics at the early stage of the development lifecycle; being up to date with stakeholders' ongoing development and their roadmap to make sure any decisions taken are data-driven.So, what will you be doing?

Building and maintaining strong relationships with the key stakeholders to understand their needs, acting as a BI evangelist.
Taking active part in product and feature development and communicating requirements concerning reporting and analytics at the early stage of development lifecycle; being up to date with stakeholders’ ongoing developments and their roadmap to make sure any decisions taken are data driven.
Assisting the Head of BI in gathering requirements from stakeholders, translating them into informative story points and tasks, communicating to the team members and leading implementation of the solutions.
Works closely with data engineering team, data product owners and related business teams such as Insights, Acquisition, Retention, Player Management, Machine Learning, Operations and Finance to understand tasks in hand, define BI requirements and propose configurable and scalable solutions.
Identifying inefficiencies in existing processes around data and proposing tactical and strategic improvements
Creating high-impact and visually appealing dashboards to elevate data and improve organizational visibility into performance across multiple properties.
Undertaking performance tuning to ensure BI solutions are optimized and function within acceptable parameters.
Monitors existing key data sources and reports to ensure data quality and integrity and undertakes performance tuning to ensure data sources, dashboards and reports are optimized and function within acceptable parameters.

And what are we looking for?

Excellent understanding of relational and non-relational databases and associated best practices together with expert knowledge of SQL
Experience with modern data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar
Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Be a creative thinker, who can see challenges and solutions, not problems and who challenges different approaches
Can see the big picture, but understands detailed steps that need to be taken to achieve the bigger goal
Building BI solutions whose quality is appreciated by our stakeholders
Team player with positive attitude that spreads onto the rest of the team
