123 Sheets is a small but growing business with fewer than 10 team members, operating in both the UK and Malta.

We specialise in delivering innovative tax filing software to accountancy firms and taxpayers via the .NET framework.

We are now seeking an experienced .NET Developer to take the lead in creating a new tax product from the ground up. This product will integrate with HM Revenue & Customs (UK) via their API, using JSON to securely exchange tax data between taxpayers, accountancy firms, and HMRC.

While the coding requirements for this project are not overly complex, a high level of accuracy is essential. The software is designed for desktop use only, and the role involves working largely independently to deliver a high-quality product that meets user needs.

• A motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail

• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• A practical, commercial mindset to anticipate and design for end-user needs

• Strong skills in self-testing to ensure products are ready before formal testing

• Commitment to taking full ownership of your projects from start to finish

You will work closely with our small, collaborative team. Once your project is self-tested, it will undergo review by your line manager, who will provide feedback for refinements. Please note: this role is not suited to those who require significant guidance or reliance on others to complete projects.

Location: Birkirkara, Malta

Salary: EUR30,000 – EUR40,000 + Bonus + Mobile Phone (after 3 months) + Additional Benefits

Eligibility: Applicants must already be based in Malta and have the legal right to work here.

Experience: Minimum 2 years full-time .NET C# Development, full-stack.
