Our Data Engineering team is looking for a Senior BI Developer to join the team! The WowYou will be working in a squad of BI Developers within the Data team, taking care of the full Data Product offered to various data consumers. The role will include work on new and existing BI dashboards and reports, extracting ad-hoc data sets, as well as offering support to the Data product.As a senior member of the team, you will help the team with technical and strategic decisions to help evolve the team, the products and the technology stack. A taste of what you will be involved with:

Design the solutions based on the business requirements and work along with Data Engineers to acquire the data, create data models and present data sets for consumption.
Work on projects that require development of dashboards, static reporting, data modelling and scheduling automated data set workflows.
Be a key reference on multiple projects while assisting your peers.
Support the products and solutions providing improvement and investigating and fixing problems reported.
Ensure the BI systems availability and optimal performance.
Work together with the Technical Lead to discuss any recommendations for enhancing our architecture, tools, or processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders, business teams, and development teams to understand business requirements and deliver data solutions

You’re good at:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen focus on detail.
Taking ownership of tasks and areas of work.
Working independently with minimal to no supervision.
Effectively prioritise and handle multiple tasks.
Collaborate within a team to accomplish collective objectives.
Possess excellent English communication skills.

Technical:

At least 5 years of experience in data related roles including 3 years of experience as a BI Developer.
Proficient knowledge of SQL is.
Experience in using reporting tools like QlikView or QlikSense and SSRS for Reporting.
Experience with Data Modelling and strong understanding of data warehouse and ETL concepts and tools like Snowflake and Airflow.
Possess a degree in a relevant technical area.
