As an HR Intern, you will provide essential support to the HR team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure across multiple HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and general HR administration. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a strong foundation in human resources.Reporting to the HR Generalist, key responsibilities include:
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records on the company's HRIS.
  • Support the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.
  • Help coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities for new hires and departing employees.
  • Support in preparing HR documents.
  • Respond to routine HR inquiries from employees in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
  • Adhere to all company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook, along with any additional policies communicated from onboarding and throughout the internship.
QualificationsCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.ExperienceIdeally, some experience working in an office environment, providing administrative or operational support would be considered an asset.Position Specific Competencies
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
