The Corporate Relations Team, led by the Corporate-Client Services Team Leader and the Employment Services Manager, is responsible for securing job opportunities in Malta and Gozo. The team's main goal is to build relationships with businesses to create employment for people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups.The Executive on this team will handle the day-to-day operations and implement new initiatives.
  • Secure Employment: Actively engages with companies to encourage them to meet their disability quota, matching a person's skills and aptitudes to available job openings.
  • Build Relationships: Meets face-to-face and communicates with corporate leaders to explore employment opportunities, asserting the employer's responsibility toward vulnerable groups.
  • Provide Guidance: Guides employers to find solutions to remove barriers to employment.
  • Coordinate Internally: Liaises with other internal teams (e.g., Training & Development, Supported Employment) to align training programs with job market needs and to identify potential matches between candidates and job placements.
  • Achieve Targets: Works to meet or exceed personal and unit-based performance targets.
  • Propose Initiatives: Suggests new services, activities, or programs to help integrate clients into the labor market.
  • Report & Ensure Compliance: Creates reports for management and ensures companies comply with legislation concerning the Register of Persons with Disability.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of the Employment and Training Services Act
  • Knowledge of the UN Convention for Persons with Disability
  • Knowledge of local and EU legislation in respect of persons with Disability
  • Knowledge of effective training and support methodologies for vulnerable persons (including persons with disability)
  • Pertinent first degree at NQF level 6, or appropriate, recognized, comparable qualification, plus two (2) years relevant work experience
  • Valid Driving License
