Accounting Manager / Client Accounting

• Manage client relationships and provide tailored accounting solutions
• Prepare and review accurate financial statements, ensuring GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory compliance
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff
• Oversee new client onboarding for financial record integration
• Manage month-end and year-year closings for clients
• Review client bookkeeping, VAT returns, and payroll
• Coordinate external audits for clients, liaising with auditors and implementing recommendations
• Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial insights
• Develop and maintain internal controls for clients to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Identify/implement improvements for client accounting efficiency
• Oversee client accounting systems and software for data integrity and security
• Collaborate with departments to provide comprehensive financial services for client projects

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA qualified
• 6+ years progressive accounting experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role, ideally in client service
• Strong financial reporting knowledge and proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero) and MS Office Suite (Excel)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client relationship management
• Able to work independently, manage multiple client priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Adapts to unexpected changes and meets tight deadlines
