- Product Strategy: Develop and execute product strategies that align with the company's overall business goals.
- Roadmap Prioritisation: Prioritising the roadmap in alignment with business strategy, considering opportunities and potential ROI. This includes high-level trade-offs between different initiatives.
- Feature Prioritisation: Identify and prioritise product features based on market research, customer feedback, and business objectives.
- Epic and Story Definition: Prepare detailed epics and user stories, including clear acceptance criteria, to guide development and ensure alignment with product goals.
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs. Develop and implement research methodologies to gather data and insights.
- Product-Led Marketing: Implement and promote product-led marketing initiatives to increase product awareness, adoption, and customer satisfaction.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including product owners, software engineers, support, customer success, marketing and sales teams, to ensure alignment and drive product success.
- Identifying Partnership Opportunities: responsible for identifying and pursuing partnerships that can help grow the product, enter new markets, or reach new customer segments. These partnerships may include technology integrations, distribution channels, or co-branded offerings.
- Industry Engagement for Market Positioning: Engaging with industry organisations, attending conferences, or participating in industry forums helps product managers stay at the forefront of industry trends and maintain a competitive edge. This allows the product to be positioned strategically within the market.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product strategy or product management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the software industry is preferred.
