- Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities within assigned accounts and/or target prospects, driving account acquisition/expansion and increased revenue, in line with the company's objectives.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, proactively recommending solutions and services according to their business needs.
- Providing direction and support to any assigned direct reports and/or cross-functional team members to help facilitate effective client interactions.
- Coordinating with internal teams, such as Product, Marketing, Sales Operations, Technical Presales and Service Delivery and Finance, to ensure a seamless customer journey from lead qualification to customer acquisition to service delivery to billing.
- Developing and executing plans in line with company strategic objectives and delivering accurate sales forecasts.
- Leading contract renewals and negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes and long-term client retention.
- Tracking performance against targets, preparing regular reports and presenting insights and recommendations to executive management.
- Keeping informed of industry trends, market developments and competitor activity to anticipate client needs and to make informed strategic decisions.
- Local experience in the technology sector is essential.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in technology-related account/business development management.
- Experience working in fast-paced, client-focused environments.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving growth targets and building strong client relationships.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
