
General Stores & Purchasing Manager

- Ensure the availability of general stock items within prescribed constraints to meet production demands at all times.
- Manage a small team of warehouse personnel and collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Respond to and ensure order coverage for a range of general stock items, including spare parts, in liaison with operational teams.
- Develop and maintain efficient stock management systems that comply with ISO standards and best practices.
- Maintain the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accurate, real-time stock information.
- Achieve targets set by the Supply Chain Manager.
- Support the Procurement section by coordinating the work of procurement administrators, ensuring adherence to procurement policies and ethical standards.
- Negotiate the best prices while maintaining the quality of procured items and addressing any arising issues.
- Ideally hold a Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Business Studies, or equivalent.
- Experience in an inventory environment, preferably within the Food & Beverage industry.
- Strong leadership, team facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to take initiative and demonstrate creativity in problem-solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong ICT and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset.
