- Owning and maintaining the day-to-day stability of IT operations across end-user services, infrastructure and core systems.
- Acting as the primary point of accountability for incident resolution, service quality and overall operational performance.
- Providing hands-on technical support when required, particularly in the case of complex or high-impact issues.
- Managing user lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding and access control.
- Monitoring and maintaining infrastructure health, including backups, recovery readiness and system performance.
- Liaising closely with third-party service providers to ensure service levels are met whilst also identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to streamline processes, improve tooling and reduce operational inefficiencies.
- Supporting system upgrades and digital initiatives whilst ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- An MQF Level 6 qualification in IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong experience in IT operations and infrastructure management, with a hands-on approach to service delivery.
- Experience working with third-party service providers and managing service performance.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- A practical and solutions-oriented mindset, together with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability for outcomes.
- Ability to work independently whilst also contributing positively within a team environment.
- Willingness to grow into a broader leadership role as the function continues to evolve.
