- Administer and oversee a portfolio of trusts and foundations, ensuring compliance with Maltese regulations.
- Liaise with legal teams and third-party stakeholders on the drafting, review and maintenance of trust deeds, foundation statutes, resolutions, minutes and other documents.
- Handle onboarding and monitoring of new trusts and foundations, including due diligence, KYC and AML checks.
- Prepare and submit filings with the Malta Business Registry and other authorities. Monitor deadlines to ensure compliance.
- Act as the main point of contact for banks, auditors, regulators and service providers.
- Respond promptly to client queries, providing updates and ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Collaborate with colleagues across legal, corporate, tax, accounting and compliance functions.
- Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
- Track legislative and regulatory changes, assess their impact and prepare internal updates.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal procedures and workflows.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the trust and foundation sector, ideally within a corporate service provider, fiduciary or legal environment.
- Strong knowledge of Maltese trust and foundation structures, laws and industry practices.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills in English.
